Sweet Nix didn’t start with a business plan. It started with love and a deep desire to change someone’s life.

My Mum, Di, is my best friend. She’s been with the same company for over 40 years. She’s seen every rebrand, every office move, every management shake-up. She’s the person everyone relies on.

Her loyalty has never wavered, but unfortunately, neither has the pressure. Over the years, her role has slowly grown heavier, less joyful and far removed from what it once was. Watching someone you love dread going to work is heartbreaking, especially when you know they deserve so much more.

When Sweet Nix was just an idea, we joked about working together one day.

And then I thought… what if it didn’t have to be a joke?

That thought changed everything.

Sweet Nix became more than a baking business. It became a mission to build something sustainable, meaningful and joyful - a place where my Mum could eventually leave a job that drains her and be part of something that lights her up instead.

Every brownie made, every order packed, every new flavour tested is a step toward that goal.

This is a business built on love, loyalty and the belief that hard-working people deserve better, and that sometimes, the sweetest things come from the bravest decisions ♡
